The girls travelled for an away league game yesterday morning. They played in dry but windy conditions it was a game of two halves.
In the first half Kanturk were completely dominant playing some brilliant football and went in at half time 3 up through Katie Hourigan, Clodagh Nic Carthiagh and Sophie Heelan goals.
The girls were comfortable early in the second half but conceded a preventable goal which drove the opposition on and with the huge wind advantage they added two more to make it 3 all.
Both sides could have won it in the end but the game ended level.
