Kanturk started the match in blistering form, playing what was easily their most dominant first half of the season. 
From the very first whistle the boys pressed high, passed quickly, and showed great movement off the ball. 
Kanturk opened the scoring after just five minutes, finishing off a flowing team move that started from the back. 
Kanturk added two more before halftime.
Defensively, the back line barely let the Wilton into our half, with the defence stepping in decisively and starting attacks from the back. By the break the Kanturk were cruising, full of confidence and energy.

The second half was a different story.
Wilton United came out with far more determination and began putting pressure on our midfield. 
Tired legs and some passing errors made things difficult, and suddenly the game turned into a battle. 
Kanturk were forced to defend deep at times, with some brave tackles and big clearances from everyone at the back. 
Wilton pulled a goal back, but instead of panicking, the boys dug in.

In the end it was a tale of two halves: brilliant football early on, grit and determination later. The boys can be proud of both.
A great win and a great lesson: when things get tough, this team knows how to fight for each other. Well done, Kanturk.
