Kanturk AFC U15 Girls v Blarney 
The girls travelled to O Shea Park on Saturday for an evening kick off under the lights. After a bright start Kanturk took the lead through Orla Heffernan. 
Blarney soon equalised and it remained one all at half time. 
In a second half played in horrendous conditions Blarney took the lead from the penalty spot. Five minutes from time Kanturk equalised after a great through ball by Aoibhe Murphy was finished by Katie Hourigan. 
In pursuit of the winner the girls conceded late on to fall to a 3-2 defeat. 
Unlucky result for Kanturk and full credit to both sides for producing an entertaining game despite the terrible weather conditions.
