Kanturk got the year off to a perfect start with a hard fought win over a physical Temple side last Saturday in Banteer to progress to the next round of the Pop Keller Cup.
The lads were very unlucky to be 2 down at half time but they did not panic and stuck to their task and played some lovely football to deservedly grab 2 late goals from Jack O Callaghan and Alan Kowalski to force penalties where Aaron McCarthy was the hero saving 2 penalties for Kanturk to progress.
Next up we are back in league action next Saturday away to Kinsale
