Games coming thick and fast for this Kanturk u14 side. On Saturday they played host to Carrigtwohill Utd.
The visitors started stronger but it was Kanturk who broke the deadlock when a lovely through ball my Ross O’Callaghan was cleanly dispatched by Ronan Weathers. Carrigtwohill started to play some nice football and it was Kanturk in the back foot until halftime.
As the second half progressed Kanturk began to find their rhythm and Ross again turned provider for Ronan Weathers who finished neatly. A deflected free kick brought Utd back into the game, but with 5 minutes left Ross O’Callaghan jinked to his left outside the box and let fly to make the score 3-1 and seal the points for the home team.
